Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! I am very much looking forward to 2016 as there will be so many new things happening! This evening I am posting my December Book Haul. This haul may seem a little small in comparison, but I will be posting another haul in a week or so as I ordered a couple of “last minute” books that have not been delivered yet. I’ll be combining those books along with a Tea Haul, so it’ll be a whopper of a haul! On to todays Haul post though. Some of these are classics that I wanted to add to my collection (the Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes anyone?) and some are new books that I have been eyeing.
The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss: I do not know much of anything about this book, but I keep hearing rave reviews for it so I’m intrigued. I am hoping to enjoy it soon!
The Collected Poems of Emily Dickinson: This is something that I wanted to add to my collection as I am a huge fan of Emily Dickinson and have been wanting to have a volume of her work to add to my bookshelf.
The Complete Sherlock Holmes Volume 1 & Volume 2 by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle: I am a huge huge huge Sherlock Holmes fan (and not just of the books and stories). I am also very excited that there are new stories being released as well (and they are on my TBR!). It only makes sense that I get the complete works for my library.
The Night Trilogy by Ellie Wiesel: Again a classic that I’ve been wanting to add to my library. I went through (and still am in) a huge Holocaust researcher. We went to the The Holocaust Museum this past weekend and I was able to pick up the complete trilogy. I am going to be re reading this trilogy as it is a great read.
Quartet for the End of Time by Johanna Skibsrud: Another book that I do not know anything about! The premise sounded interesting when I read the inside cover and it was a very nice cover that peaked my interest.
Those are all the books from this Book Haul! I am actually a little proud that these are all the books that I purchased (I think this is the smallest monthly haul ever), although I purchased a lot more home good type of things and more items for the baby. Happy New Year everyone!!!
