Good afternoon everyone! I hope your weekends are going well! We have had a bit of a shopping day today but are now relaxing for a little bit before dinner.
This weekend I have been loving being so close to the Capital! There are always things for us to do and this past weekend we decided to head up and go to the Museum of Natural History. We got to walk into the butterfly which while beautiful and very pretty (and cool!) was a little bit smaller than we were expecting. We also got to see a Live Tarantula feeding (blech) which was a little freaky. Once done with the museum we walked along the National Mall and headed back over to the memorials for a little bit. Overall it was a really nice day, slightly overcast (missed the rainstorm that came later) and a little cooler that made walking the 4.8 total miles really enjoyable. Our sweet boy also enjoyed seeing all sorts of new things and getting out of the house for a little while.
I have also been loving watching our sweet boy start to learn different ways to get around! He’s been rolling from his tummy to his back for a little while now, but only recently started rolling from his back to his belly. This is a little bit harder for babies to master, but he made it look easy! Now he is trying to get around any way he can. He turns himself around in circles while on his tummy and has started showing the initial signs of learning to crawl! He is still too young to truly master it, but I don’t think it will be too much longer before he really gets going not he mobility. I am not ready for my sweet little baby to be moving around!
What I did not love is Mockingjay pt 2. I have been debating on making a post about this (or just start a book to movies posting) because I need to get my feelings out somehow. It was just…eh. Keep a lookout for a post, because it may just be coming!
Another post to keep a look out for is going to be on Tuesday. I am going to be doing something a little different and I’m excited to see how it turns out! In the meantime though I am going to go make some dinner and do some reading. How has your weekend gone? Anything exciting happen?
