Good afternoon everyone! In light of it being Thanksgiving week, I found this nice little tag to do for this week. I found this tag over on SophiesSeries on Youtube. There will not be a post going up on Thanksgiving as I will be enjoying the day with family, but I wanted to share for this week! Without further ado, let’s get into the questions!
1.) The Wrangler/Survivor: What character would be most likely to chase after a turkey and what character would be most likely to save it?
This one is really obvious for me, it would be Jamie Fraser chasing the turkey. There are too many choices for who would save the Turkey a couple coming up later in these questions.
2.) The Drama King/Queen: What book character would be most likely to start an argument at the table?
Oh goodness…any character from Beautiful Creatures. They got into a fight on there own holiday, so why not over a Thanksgiving Feast?
3.) The Space Cadet: What character would accidentally set the oven on fire?
Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter. She is so sweet and innocent and spacey and I firmly believe that she would start something and wander off only to forget it was there.
4.) The Loner: What character would most likely be a loner on Thanksgiving (because, let’s face it, no one wants them there)?
Hmmm…I would go with Joe from You by Caroline Kepnes. He can certainly be a charmer when he wants to be, but I feel like his humor and the way he approaches people/situations would be awkward and uncomfortable. Let’s not mention what Joe is actually capable of either…
5.) The Perfectionist: What character would be too preoccupied making sure that everything at the event is absolutely PERFECT?
This is a toss up between Hermione Granger and Mrs. Weasley. I feel they both would work themselves into a huff between each other to make sure everything went off without a hitch.
6.) The Embarassment: Which fictional character has a little too much (AKA a LOT) of holiday spiced apple cocktail?
Oh gosh. So many. There are quite a few that I can think of as indulging a little too much, but none would become embarrassing. Rather I like to think that they would be funnier versions of themselves. Similar to Louisa Clark at the wedding (Me Before You by JoJo Moyes).
7.) What book are you least thankful for this year?
I don’t think I have a book that I am least thankful for. There are several books that I didn’t care for this year, but I still like to think that they help me learn and grow and continue to hone in my reading skills and expose me to new genres.
8.) What book are you MOST thankful for?
I’m not going to list any favorites, I’ll save that for a different post, but I will say that I am thankful that I got to read such a variety of book this year ( I know that seems like a cop out, I promise it isn’t). I have approached some new to me genres this year and I have had my eyes opened to more books that I want to include in my reading. For a while I seemed to get stuck in a rut of reading the same genre, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but I feel this year I’ve really gone down the road of several different genre’s and that has been fantastic.
9.) Name one random thing that you’re thankful for 🙂
So, I am going to take this question for exactly what it is and not get mushy. I will post a “mushier” post on Sunday detailing all of the good things that I am thankful for. The random thing that I am thankful for at this very moment in time is the baby pack and play that allows me to be able to write this post without worrying about my sweet child going amok all over the house 🙂
So there you have it! Those are my answers to the questions! I hope that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoys the day! I will be back to regular again starting on Sunday!
PS- I tag whoever would like to do this tag! Share you’re answers with me, I’d love to hear them!!
