Good evening everyone! Tonight I am going to be doing a book review for you. I received this book from a dear friend to try out and I’m glad I did because it is not necessarily something that I would have just picked out for myself. So, lets get into the nitty gritty! I want to quickly say that this will probably be a shorter review because not only do I not have too much to say on the read, but I also have a very major migraine that I’m tending, so thank you for bearing with me on this review.
As always, full information on the book HERE.
I want to start by saying that I truly enjoyed this book. I feel like it is the perfect read for a spring weekend that you just want to sit down and finish a book in the weekend. This is a very well paced book and a very soft nice story. It starts off from one perspective but quickly lets the reader delve into multiple characters minds and perspectives. I love that you are able to see different viewpoints throughout the story because it really adds to the story. I don’t know if I would have enjoyed i as much if it was just from one characters perspective.
The character growth, development and individual stories worked smoothly and all the strings were nicely tied up at the end of the story. One character’s storyline did continue to shock and surprise me as it moved through the story through to the end of the book. I did not see the turn that her story took and that was something that I very much enjoyed as well. Then, once the shocks kept coming it was very nice to be able to view what was happening through every “main” characters viewpoint.
Overall this book was a very nice read. It is a good book to read in the spring (I think it isn’t enough of a romance/contemporary nature to be a summer read) over a weekend. I know there are a couple more books that continue on with the stories, but I haven’t yet decided if I am going to pick them up or not. We will just have to see! Have you read The Friday Night Knitting Club? If so, what were your thoughts?
